Organic tomatoes dried, salted
Made from approx. 1,1 kg fresh tomatoes.
Ingredients: organic tomatoes, salt.
Packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Recipe for "pesto rosso"

300 g finest olive oil.
60 g Seeberger Pine Kernels.
2 – 3 cloves of garlic.
100 g Seeberger Organic sun-dried tomatoes.

Chop Seeberger organic sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces.
Put all ingredients into a blender or similar appliance. Blend slowly.
Fold in fresh planed “Parmesan” cheese or use a packet of pre-prepared grated Parmesan (40g). Season to taste with fine cut Sweet Basil and “Cayenne” pepper.

NOTE:
Leaving in the refrigerator for a few hours before using allows the tomato to absorb the oil and brings out the flavour of the pesto.

“Pesto Rosso” is ideal for noodles or on “Ciabatta”.
